Course Description

In Artificial Intelligence for HR Professionals, you will learn about different kinds of artificial intelligence (AI), including machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI. You will then explore how AI impacts talent acquisition, talent development, compensation and benefits, employee relations and engagement, and performance management. This course will explain the benefits and challenges of using AI, which HR responsibilities are best assisted by AI tools, and the importance of human oversight. You will also explore ethical behavior and legal compliance of AI use in the HR field, as well as how AI affects bias and the achievement of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

• Differentiate between supervised learning, unsupervised learning, and reinforcement learning
• Identify HR applications of machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI
• Explain how AI supports talent acquisition and talent management

• Identify the most effective training data to best utilize AI
• Describe ethical issues and biases related to AI
• Identify advantages and disadvantages of utilizing AI tools to achieve diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives
• Explain AI-related legislation pertaining to HR functions
